At the training session, Plant Manager Ye Shoujun provided a detailed briefing, drawing on practical scenarios involving commonly used workshop equipment such as grain-drying units, conveying machinery, and cleaning systems, with a focus on two key topics: how to standardize safe production practices and how to prevent machine‑related injuries.

The plant manager emphasized that mechanical injuries are the most common safety hazard in grain-processing enterprises, and all employees must abandon any complacent or reckless attitudes toward safe operating procedures.

1. Before starting work, perform a thorough equipment inspection to verify that guardrails, emergency stop switches, and drive‑line guards are in good condition; do not start the machine if any protective devices are missing.

2. During equipment operation, it is prohibited to reach into the grain flow to clear blockages, step over drive belts, or come into close proximity with rotating components.

3. Maintenance and blockage-clearing operations must strictly follow the “shut down, disconnect power, and tag out” procedure to prevent unauthorized live‑equipment operations.

4. Wear personal protective equipment in compliance with regulations; tie long hair back into a work cap; do not wear loose-fitting clothing or slippers while on duty; and eliminate, at the source, risks of entanglement, crushing, and cutting injuries from machinery.

At the training site, all employees were gathered to watch an educational video on accidents involving mechanical equipment.
